In my Crumbling Alliance & In my Core

When I had quit the game, I left Aegis to fulfill a little promise I made to myself when I was only about level 55. I promised myself that I would one day get those hula hoops that people wore; Bright blue and coruscating some sort of prideful image. Oh, I'm romancing such a trivial thing. Regardless, that's what I had done, and I don't think people knew why, so it's my bad for not being able to tell everyone. I didn't want to be in Aegis to just be dead weight. 2 weeks after said (re)making of the first clan I'd ever had in the game, Sanctuary, I switched it's leadership to my alt, and waited out a 7 day clan penalty that seemed like forever. I also spent this time deciding on what to do with myself. I first went to Roley, obviously, to have the verdict on if I would be let back in. The majority vote, to my contrary hope, was no. At first it hurt, because I had no idea what the reason was. Roley didn't divulge it probably because he was confused, and didn't even bother to pay attention to the numerous problems I'd stated in clan chat. Then again, my depressed moods and huge mood swings probably made him scorn me regardless, so, it's fine.

)|(onslaught)|( dropped faction to take a break 'till 3.0, which left their colonies bare and undefended. They dropped also due to not being able to afk in peace, especially in places like Ancient Area, which you pay real money to access. Not too long after, we at Core made the decision to drop faction as well. It's discouraging to afk and pay money only to be pked. Rest assured, though, they will return to Republican status eventually. There were two members, who will remain unnamed, who weren't happy with Core's overall decision; One went ragequitclan, the other I'm not so sure about. Telos was disbanded last night due to 'Misericordiia quitting to take life off the backburner.' Though, according to friends and their information on the situation, I believe that was not the only reason, or the true reason for that matter.

Balbanies quit today. The only person I could only truly call a best friend. It sort of hurts, but he didn't say he was quitting outright just yet. It's like a hiatus; Gone fishing (for 3.0) in this case. He left me with his most prized possession: The first Ice Gate dagger to ever be claimed in Orpesia. I understand how he felt when I had made him take my bishop. It's a bittersweet feeling; You feel honored to receive something from a person, but at the same time, you wish you didn't have to--- That if you didn't, maybe the person would stay. The feelings neither outweigh nor drown eachother out. I sure as hell know I felt that way. Bambi (Balbanies) went off and I drowned away my sadness by killing people with said Crystalin Dagger. Took a shower, then relaxed. I feel better now, to say the least.

Saturday's CW was pretty intense. It was my first CW in Core (Though definitely not my first in general; Aegis made many of those experiences beforehand,) and we were up to claiming one of )|(onslaught)|('s colonies. Of course the other Republican clan, Exalted, decide to try and snatch it, but in the end they didn't win it. During that time, though, I was tanking 10 people and I have to say, I really appreciate fighters now. My ele still can't completely survive every single attack thrown at her, but that's a given. It always will be. No matter if you have a +7 Elite Le Rouge with 3 dr and a shitload of defense, she will still be a glass cannon. Just not as much of one.

Speaking of armor, I've been contemplating on what to do with my ele le rouge. I don't know if I should +7 it or not, but with the fact that Core does NOT do Raids that drop le rouges, it seems like I should. I also have been looking to exchange my musk le rouge for a fighter one, but Roley said no, UnTouchables is silent on the idea, and I haven't gone to Elysium with it. I doubt they'd agree. With the ensuing chaos that will be Colony Wars, I will need all the strength I can. With that, I turn back my attention to Colony War. People predict this next CW will be insane. Aegis is sort of idle right now, and Elysium doesn't seem to be doing too well. As far as I know Aegis will be fine for now, but Elysium I cannot be certain of. I will continue to support Core while I'm in this clan, so I'm hoping to claim one of Telos' colonies for Core. Sadly, I will not be on this CW.

I've still been trying to chip my 92e Aquila, and so far I have gotten almost everything but DR. I've kept the current mod (9 Block) on there, because it has helped a lot in Defender. I'm experting Kasugah Epistia, because I sold Shiseki Epistia to a very good friend of mine, H3llBurner. He even named her after me. :)
